Dylan's New Album Due Sept. 11

DYLAN’S NEW ALBUM: Bob Dylan will release a new studio album, Tempest, on Sept. 11 on his longtime label Columbia Records. The album will feature 10 new and original Dylan songs, and will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the artist’s self-titled debut album, which was released by Columbia in 1962. Tempest is available for pre-order now on iTunes and Amazon. The new album, produced by Jack Frost, is the 35th studio set from Dylan, and follows 2009’s worldwide best-seller, Together Through Life, which was his first album to debut at #1 in both the U.S. and U.K., as well as five other countries, eventually surpassing sales of one million copies worldwide. Ironically, his Grammy-winning “Love and Theft” album came out on Sept. 11, 2001. (7/17a)
