EVERYTHING’S JAKE: Speaking of Columbia, The Wallflowers have announced that their long-awaited new studio album Glad All Over will be released Oct. 2. The band’s new single, “Reboot the Mission,” is a Clash-inspired track featuring none other than Mick Jones on vocals and guitar. The track will be available for free, boys and girls, beginning tomorrow (7/24) at www.thewallflowers.com. The single, which is getting an extremely positive initial response from programmers, impacts radio today. (7/23a)
