Lorde marketing stunt

LICK MY DECALS OFF, BABY: Here’s a driver’s eye view of the 405 South at rush hour this morning. OK, we made that up. We told you on Friday that ads featuring the cover art and release date—that would be today—for Lorde's full-length debut, Pure Heroine would show up on the back windshields of cars in the L.A. area over the weekend in a clever marketing gambit dreamed up by Lava and Adverts4Autos. The above pic was shot Saturday at Joe's Parking Lot downtown, where the unveiling took place. (9/30a)
