Fridayy (Def Jam)
11/10/22

WHAT IT IS: Philly native singer/writer/producer Fridayy, (real name: Francis LeBlanc), earned his breakthrough moment in 2022 by appearing on DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID” alongside Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend and Jay Z, as well as Lil Baby’s “Forever,” which helped earn him his first Top 10 hit. Having written, produced and collaborated with the likes of Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Tink, G Herbo, Rod Wave and Don Toliver, among others, Fridayy has also contributed to tracks like Rae Sremmurd’s “Denial” and Skylar Stecker’s “Know It’s Wrong.” Taking inspiration from his past struggles, Fridayy approaches his music with a hopeful eye to the future, giving listeners an alluring window into his journey as an artist. His latest project, Lost in Melody, which features his single, “Empty Stomach,” serves as a proper introduction to the budding artist.
