WHAT IS IT: Michigan-born singer/songwriter Vedo has an affinity for evocative music, turning raw feelings into masterpieces. Throughout high school, Vedo spent much of his time uploading covers on YouTube before appearing on season four of NBC’s The Voice at 19. After releasing his solo debut, 93, in 2015, which yielded the fan favorite “4 Walls,” Vedo solidified his staus as an emerging artist while also establishing himself as a sought-after songwriter, co-writing tracks for Lil Dicky, NCT 127 and Chris Brown. 2017’s From Now On, 2019’s self-titled album and Vedo’s 2020 breakthrough project, For You, which includes lead single “You Got It,” have collectively generated hundreds of millions of streams while spurring a flurry of activity on TikTok.
