NOELLE SCAGGS TALKS DIVERSITY
10/19/20

Noelle Scaggs, co-lead vocalist of Fitz and the Tantrums and Founder of Diversify The Stage, is gearing up to moderate Diversify The Live Industry as a part of the Pollstar Live! Digital Sessions.

Set for 10/20, the roundtable discussion will have Scaggs (who's managed by Adam "Ash" Harrison) leading a panel that includes six prominent industry figures in the live industry space.

The panel includes Tobi Parks, co-head of NIVA and owner of xBk Live; Brandon Pankey of Live Nation Urban; Jerome Crooks of Diversify The Stage and NeverFamous.com; award-winning designer/producer/director Sooner Rae Routhier; Lance "KC" Jackson, co-founder of Roadies of Color; and Joe Schaffner, a tour manager who’s worked on tours with Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and The Jacksons.

Most recently, Scaggs launched the Diversify The Stage initiative to direct more touring business opportunities to BIPOC, women and LGBTQ+ people across all stages. The initiative allows industry professionals to come together and establish inclusive hiring practices while expanding opportunities to more people in live music events and touring industries.

The roundtable livestream can be watched on Pollstar’s Facebook page on Tuesday (10/20) at 2pm ET/11am PT.
