PANIC! AT THE BENEFIT FOR THE HIGHEST HOPES FOUNDATION
11/18/19

Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie has raised more than $134k through his charity Twitch stream benefit for the Highest Hopes Foundation, which supports the efforts of non-profit organizations that lead, develop, and advocate support for human rights.

The twitch stream took place on Urie's channel on 11/15 in partnership with State Farm and featured appearances and giveaways from special guests like Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Twenty One PilotsJosh Dun, and DJ/producer Dillion Francis. Urie surpassed the original goal of $100k in just 24 hours.

Viewers also received surprises like an original metal song from Urie, whose recent Fueled By Ramen/DCD2 Records album Pray For The Wicked has been certified platinum by the RIAA, and other giveaways from Crush Music-managed Panic! At The Disco as well as Oculus, HyperX, Beat Saber, Call Of Duty, and The Game Awards, among others.

In 2018, Urie named GLSEN the foundation’s first beneficiary and pledged a $1m donation to the LGBTQ non-profit, and earlier this year, Urie received the Inspiration Award at the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards in honor of his commitment to LGBTQ youth.
