WHAT IT IS: Debut album, I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, was released in September of this year to critical acclaim. In its first week on the charts, the duo—Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen and former Vampire Weekend producer/instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij—debuted at #1 on the Heatseekers Chart. The album also landed as the #1 New Artist Album, Top 10 at Alternative and #151 on the Top 200 in its first week. The duo’s song “In a Black Out” is currently soundtracking the new Apple iPhone 7 commercial, titled “Midnight.”
