WHAT IT IS: Touted as the “Next Big Thing” by CBC Music, this pop songstress is by no means a rookie to the recording industry. In 2012, she won an East Coast Music award for her self-released debut Under Your Skin, and in 2013 she was nominated for another ECMA—Song of the Year—for her track “Leaving Today.” Her upcoming self-titled release was produced by Juno award-winning hip-hop artist Classified. “Clothes Off,” her breakout single, was nominated for the 2015 Song of Year Juno and has already been streamed more than 5m times globally.
