THE LAST BANDOLEROS
3/12/15

It's not exactly a down-the-middle pitch: Tex-Mex meets harmony-rich Beatlesque pop, with a healthy dollop of boy-pop charisma. In any case, the musical verve and joyous energy on display in this tune by unsigned foursome The Last Bandoleros is pretty irresistible. The Martin Kierszenbaum-managed troupe will be slaying at SXSW (schedule here), and on heavy rotation in our world. Is the accordion the new banjo? We shall see, but we'll be dancing while we wait to find out.
