A CHORUS OF PRAISE: IVORS 2024 NOMS
Primary Wave has acquired frontman Aaron Bruno's share of the music publishing catalog of AWOLNATION. The rock band's 2010 smash "SAIL" was recently certified Diamond by the RIAA.
Terms of the deal will see the publishing giant acquire a majority stake in the Award-winning artist’s music publishing catalog. The deal encompasses some of Aaron’s biggest hits across his career including “The Best,” “Run,” “Not Your Fault” and “Sail.”
“It’s exciting to have these songs join a class of iconic artists and catalogs that call Primary Wave home,” said Bruno. “I’m thrilled to be partnering with them and to begin working with their team.”
Of the deal, Primary Wave Music’s David Weitzman commented, “We are pleased to welcome Aaron Bruno to the Primary Wave family. His triple threat talent & vision as a songwriter, producer, and artist are undeniable. We look forward to partnering with Aaron and his management to take his career to even greater heights.”
The new partnership will give Bruno access to Primary Wave’s marketing team and publishing infrastructure, which includes digital strategy, licensing, synch opportunities as well as film, television and theatrical production.
