BMG APPOINTS PALMER
12/19/18

BMG has appointed veteran exec Jonathan Palmer to SVP, Creative Sync. Leading the creative sync teams in both New York and L.A., Palmer will also work alongside the U.S. and international Sync licensing teams while reporting directly to Patrick Joset, Global EVP, Marketing & Licensing.

In his previous role at A Suit of Leaves, Palmer represented record labels, music publishers, artists and songwriters for licensing on all media; clients included Riptide Music, Faction Management and a range of independent artists. Kicking off his career at Bug Music publishing, he began working with an array of artists including Iggy Pop, Rosanne Cash, Ryan Adams, and the catalogs of Johnny Cash and Willie Dixon.

Joset proclaimed, "Jonathan is well respected both in the artist and the sync communities, and his wealth of experience in Recorded and Publishing combined with his broad client network are going to be a real asset for BMG and our artist clients."
