8/7/18

Sony/ATV has promoted Lou Al-Chamaa to VP, A&R and Nick Bral to Director, A&R, both based in the company's L.A. office.

Al-Chamaa's signings include Grammy-nominated rising star Daniel Caesar and his production team Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett, Tank God who co-wrote and co-produced Post Malone's #1 hit "Rockstar" and Ben Abraham who has worked with Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson and co-wrote Kesha's Grammy-nominated hit "Praying." He also signed artist Lucky Daye, one of recently-launched RCA label Keep Cool's first artists. He's worked with Mike Posner and Brett McLaughlin as well, among others. Prior to joining Sony/ATV in 2014 Al-Chamaa worked for RCA and Atlantic Records.

Nick Bral joined Sony/ATV in 2013 as an assistant in the LA A&R department. His signings include Mike Sabath who co-wrote and produced Liam Payne & J Balvin's single "Familiar," Dan Nigro whose songs have been cut by Sky Ferriera and Carly Rae Jepsen, Andrew Maury who co-wrote two songs on Mondo Cozmo's latest EP and Kameron Alexander who contributed to Little Big Town's album The Breaker.

Al-Chamaa reports to Sony/ATV Co-Prexy Rick Krim and Bral reports to SVP, Co-Heads of West Coast A&R Jennifer Knoepfle and Amanda Berman-Hill.

Both will be given "starter humidors."
