Pulse Music Group has inked Ty Dolla $ign to a worldwide pub deal.
The hip-hop star, currently featured on Post Malone’s gigantic “Psycho,” co-wrote that monster, as well as Best Rap Song Grammy nominee “Young Wild & Free” by Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa f/Bruno Mars. Ty's scored with his own big singles, including “Paranoid” f/B.o.B” and “Or Nah” f/Wiz. He’s also co-penned and/or appeared on smashes for Fifth Harmony, Rihanna/Kanye/Paul McCartney, Lil Wayne/Wiz/Imagine Dragons/Logic (from the Suicide Squad OST), Gucci Mane, Jason Derulo, Big Sean, YG, 2 Chainz, Bebe Rexha, Jeremih, Chris Brown and more. His second studio album, Beach House 3, dropped in October.
Pubco co-CEO Josh Abraham counted himself “thrilled” to have Ty on his roster, adding, “Our company thrives on culture and making an impact on future trends, and Ty represents the pinnacle of genre-bending success.” Rumors that Josh and co-CEO Scott Cutler would be adding dollar signs to their own names couldn’t be confirmed at presstime.
