iHEART'S MILLER IS MIAMI BOUND

Rob Miller is leaving New York for Miami to become Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia's South Florida region and Executive Vice President of Hot AC Programming and Strategy for iHeartMedia's National Programming Group.

In his new role as SVP of Programming, Miller will be responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale markets as well as West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, Fort Myers, Naples and Punta Gorda. As EVP of Hot AC Programming, he will work closely with several iHeartMedia stations across the United States.

He reports to Division President and Region President for iHeartMedia South Florida Brian Olson, who said, "I've had the pleasure of working closely with Rob for the past 10 years on 939 MIA. He is one of the most dedicated and hardworking individuals in our industry and I'm excited for Rob to lead our teams across South Florida."

An iHeart veteran of nearly 30 years, he has spent the last 12 years at the helm of WKTU/New York. He previously programmed WALK-FM on Long Island.

"Rob has done a brilliant job programming the iconic 103.5 KTU and leading iHeartMedia's Hot AC stations,” said Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. “He's one of the best programmers I know and I have tremendous confidence in his ability to now lead the programming of our South Florida stations."

Miller succeeds Alex Tear, current South Florida SVP of Programming and PD of WHYI (Y100)/Miami, who remains with the company and is currently examining in-house options. In the interim, Y100 APD Joey Brooks will oversee programming for the station.

All three men deny having any interest in the open Miami Dolphins head coaching job.
