It’s Opening Day! Well, it won’t be when you read this, but you get the picture. Those of you who know, know. For me, spring is here when the ball hits those wooden bats. There’s no better sound, unless you’re a pitcher, and then the swish of the swing and a miss is the best sound. I just wish I was sitting at Chavez Ravine.

But on to business at hand. Epic’s Team Glassman is on fire, with Meghan Trainor’s “NO,” Zara Larsson & MNEK’s “Never Forget You” and Fifth Harmony f/Ty Dolla $ign’s “Work From Home” (SYCO) all Top 10 at iTunes and Top 10 Shazam. “NO” is Top 10 in airplay, and both “Never Forget You” and “Work From Home” are just about to climb up and join it. I guess good things really do come in threes. The recently signed Nelly’s “Die a Happy Man” moves Top 30 this week and is on more than 85 stations. Next up is Timeflies’ “Once in a While,” which impacts on 4/18.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih launched Jason Derulo’s “If It Ain’t Love” last week, just in time for him to host the iHeartRadio Music Awards; everyone was talking today about the great job he did hosting and performing afterwards. Look for the single at the top of the add board this week. Andra Day’s “Rise Up” continues to pull in stations and spin increases, as it moves closer to charting. Next up is Bebe Rexha’s “No Broken Heart,” which impacts 4/11.

Hollywood’s Finck, Smith and Ennis have Shawn Hook’s “Sound of Your Heart” ready to move Top 20 with 150 stations on board. That one’s streams are at 30m on Spotify, and the sales took a 130% jump this week. We the Kings’ “Story of Tonight” is up 12 spots on the chart and bubbling just under, with help from Hits 1, WHBQ and KMXV.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris and Vaughan have Ruth B’s “Lost Boy” heading Top 25, as WFLC, WDZH, WBLI and KZHT all climb aboard. The Chainsmokers f/Daya’s “Don’t Let Me Down” (Disruptor) is Top 25 and was a Top 5 spin and audience gainer this week. With 150+ now reported, this one should be off to the races. Operations Manager and Morning Host WDJX Ben Davis says, “One listen. This single is a smash!”

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio and Cooper have their plates loaded with G-Eazy f/Bebe Rexha’s “Me, Myself and I,” which is still a Top 10 Greatest Gainer, sitting at #3 and ZAYN’s “Pillowtalk”—#8 Greatest Gainer—right behind at #7, while #2 on Spotify’s U.S. chart and #8 on the Shazam USA Top 100. Sia had the #5 album on iTunes, as “Cheap Thrills,” featuring Sean Paul, charted with help from WBMP, WKSC and WPOW. Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece by Piece” is looking to chart, with more than 50 Pop stations already on board. Grace f/G-Eazy’s “You Don’t Own Me” was #8 Most Added last week with 13 new stations, including Y100, KBFF and KPLV. Elle King’s “America’s Sweetheart” has picked up 40+ stations; Hits 1, G105, KUDD and WKSE are all in. Snakehips f/Tinashe’s “All My Friends” is #6 Most Added, and the Shazam numbers in airplay markets took a huge jump immediately. Alan Walker’s “Faded” is impacting now, with KAMP, KMVQ and KEGY already on board.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothschild and Farag had a big night at the iHeart Awards, with Justin Bieber cleaning up. It looks like he could be the first male solo act to have four #1s in, while a new single (“Company”) heads toward the top of the chart. Alessia Cara’s “Wild Things” is now Top 20, with help from WNCI, WRNW and KKHH. Iggy Azalea’s “Team” is Top 30 after two short weeks of airplay; new airplay just came in from WNKS, KHFI and KHKS. Jeremih’s “Oui” is looking to chart, as WODS, KZON and WXSS all come on board this week. Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) and Alesso’s “I Wanna Know” are both impacting this week.

Mom+Pop’s David Jacobs charted Flume f/Kai’s “Never Be Like You” and moved it up to #37, with 80+ stations already on board. KLIF, KEGY and KZZP are already increasing their rotation, as the track shows big sales and stream increases in airplay markets.

And over at Artbeatz/Red, Buch, Weil and Halpern are about to chart Daya’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” after impacting last week in the Top 10 on the Mediabase add board. Adds on impact included KKRZ, WKST, WZFT and WFLC.

Capitol’s Rainey, Youngblood & Siciliano have Troye Sivan’s “Youth” heading Top 15. With 5m streams a week and the callout it’s posting, this one’s sure to keep climbing. The streams have exploded on Halsey’s “Colors,” as it prepares to chart with 60+ stations on board. Be sure to look for the MAC campaign for that one. Jonas Blue’s “Fast Car,” meanwhile, pulled in Hits 1, KHKS and WPST and more, just before charting.

Global’s Team Palmese had Nathan Sykes’ “Over and Over Again” in the Top 10 Most Added last week with 10 adds, which included Y100, KDND, WNOW and WKSS, and the track continues to move up inside the Top 30.

Republic’s CW, Spangler and Russell recently watched as Demi Lovato flawlessly performed “Stone Cold” (Safehouse/Island/Hollywood) on the iHeart Awards. The track has charted, and its video already has 26m video views. Nick Jonas f/Tove Lo’s “Close” (Island) was Most Added on impact with 160 stations and is already at #22. Mike Posner’s “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” is now #8, while seeing an 83% sales bump this week. It was also the #6 Greatest Gainer and the #3 Greatest Gainer on Shazam. Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” is Top 15, and we hear the callout on this one should take it to the top of the chart. James Bay’s “Let It Go” is ready to move Top 20 and has strong early callout at several majors. DNCE’s “Cake by the Ocean” is Top 5 and can be heard just about anywhere you are on TV and radio, while Hailee Steinfeld f/DNCE’s “Rock Bottom” moves up to #33, with help from KIIS, KYLD, RDIS and WKSC. Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” (Big Machine) continues to move up the chart, and is now #18, following her big night at the iHeart Awards.

MUSIC WE LOVE: Nick Fradiani’s “Get You Home” (19/Republic/BMLG), Alesso’s “I Wanna Know” (Def Jam).
