AVEX EXPANDS PACT WITH BRANDON SILVERSTEIN'S S10 ENTERTAINMENT

Avex USA has made a strategic investment in Brandon Silverstein's artist-management company, S10 Entertainment, expanding a pre-existing partnership with the latter's S10 Publishing. The deal was announced at an investor conference in Tokyo by Avex Inc. global CEO Katsumi Kuroiwa.

Founded in 2017 as a joint venture between Silverstein and Roc Nation, S10 Entertainment is home to artists like Myke Towers, who currently has a hit with his new Bad Bunny-adorned single "Adivino" and who, in July of last year, reached #1 on Spotify's Top 50 global chart, surging past cuts by B-Bun, Tay and O-Rod.

The new Avex investment will help develop and break Japanese acts globally while providing inroads into Asia for S10 and Roc Nation artists.

"We’ve achieved a tremendous amount with Brandon in recent years and over that time built a great trust between us," said Avex USA CEO Naoki Osada. "We share a lot in common with our respective companies' DNA, and extending our partnership was a natural and organic step."

Added Silverstein, “I feel incredibly fortunate to have globally minded partners like Jay Brown, Jay-Z and the Roc Nation family. Adding the Avex team to our management ecosystem following the immense success I’ve had with Avex in our publishing venture was a natural progression in deepening our ever-growing relationship."

That publishing venture is generating hits by S10 writers and producers, including Jasper Harris (Tate McRae’s “greedy”), GENT! (Doja Cat’s “Agora Hills") and King Kosa (RVSSIAN's global Top 20 "Santa" with Rauw Alejandro and Ayra Starr). S10 has also published hits by Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Drake, Lil Baby, Juice WRLD and Travis Scott.
