JEFF LYNNE PLOTS FINAL ELO TOUR

The original incarnation of Electric Light Orchestra has been disbanded for nearly 40 years, but group leader Jeff Lynne is taking his latter-day version of the act on tour one final time.

Jeff Lynne's ELO will kick off their Over and Out Tour 8/24 in Palm Desert, California, and have dates on the books through 10/25 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Lynne, 76, is the only core member still performing in the band, which last toured in 2019 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two years earlier.

Based on prior set lists, expect a litany of hits including "Do Ya," "Xanadu," "Turn to Stone" "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr. Blue Sky," as well as "Handle With Care" from the all-star band The Traveling Wilburys, of which Lynne was a member.

Pre-sale tickets for the Live Nation-promoted trek will be available 3/20, with the general on-sale set for 3/22. Click here for details, and promptly begin humming the chorus of "Evil Woman."
