INDIE RETAIL CHART: HERE'S THE SPIN

Gracie Abrams & Aaron Dessner top this week's Indie Retail chart with Good Riddance Acoustic Shows (Interscope). KISS guitarist Ace Frehley (MNRK) and Mom+Pop's MGMT also score Top 5 debuts.

On another indie-related note, Luminate has announced the hiring of Chris Muratore as director of partnerships, a role that will focus on indie-retail relations—also known as “indie whispering." Many independent stores stopped providing sales data to Luminate in December after the company declared it would no longer weight those sales to extrapolate for the 95% of the sector that didn't report.

Check out the Indie Retail chart here.
