Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic) repeats at #1 on the HITS Top 50, notching a record-setting 19th week atop the chart—the 2023 blockbuster has now logged the most weeks at #1 for any country album ever, beating Garth Brooks' 1991 Ropin' the Wind.
With 65k units, Wallen’s set prevents the late Toby Keith, who died on 2/5, from achieving a posthumous #1. Mourning fans propelled Keith’s 35 Biggest Hits (Show Dog/UMe) to #2, moving 62k in just three days.
Grammy winners Taylor Swift and SZA received sizable boosts following Music’s Biggest Night. Swift’s Midnights (Republic)—which made her the winningest artist ever in the Album of the Year category, with her fourth victory—jumps to #3 with 52k, up 40%. TDE/RCA’s SZA, who performed on the telecast and won three trophies, climbs to #4 with SOS.
Also earning a post-Grammys spike is Luke Combs, whose performance of “Fast Car” alongside Tracy Chapman was an emotional highlight of the evening. Combs’ Gettin’ Old (River House/Columbia Nashville) is up 22% to #21.
Columbia’s Miley Cyrus, who took Record of the Year for “Flowers,” which she did on the show, re-enters the chart with Endless Summer Vacation, at #37.
Streeting this week are new titles by mega/gamma.’s USHER, Epic’s Zara Larsson, Island’s Brittany Howard, Warner’s Michael Marcagi, Rancho Humilde/Sony Latin’s Fuerza Regida and Noah Kahan, with his expanded Stick Season (Mercury/Republic).
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we'd like to start our Super Bowl weekend early by collapsing in a heap. See the full chart here.
