FAX/Epic's Tyla is climbing DSP charts with her viral cut "Water." The South African native's R&B banger has entered the Top 40 on Spotify global and is moving up in the U.S., approaching the Top 50 at Apple Music. It's generated north of 1.6m creations on TikTok.

"Water" has scored major adds on the Spot's Today's Top Hits and Apple's Today's Hits.

Tyla has also captivated fans with her high-energy dance moves—which she's wisely showcased for her 4m TikTok followers. The signature choreography and sprinkling of amapiano (South African jazz-infused house music) and rhythmic pop in "Water" have biz historians recalling the moment Rihanna burst onto the scene.
