Disney’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the fifth and final adventure to star Harrison Ford, grossed an estimated $60m over the weekend and is projected to hit $82m by the end of the five-day Fourth of July stanza.

The film racked up $70m internationally for a three-day opening of $130m. The last Indiana Jones film, 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, posted a $100m opening weekend.

  2. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Columbia Pictures): $11.5m; 3,405/$3,377 average per screen (Week 5)
  3. Elemental (Disney): $11.3m; 3,650/$3,095 (Week 3)
  4. No Hard Feelings (Sony Pictures): $7.5m; 3,208/$2,337 (Week 2)
  5. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (Paramount Pictures): $7m; 2,852/$2,454 (Week 4)
