CAPALDI TOPS MOST-STREAMED SONGS CHART

Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” (EMI) has overtaken Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” (Atlantic) as the U.K.’s most-streamed song.

“Someone You Loved” has amassed 562m audio and video streams since its release in November 2018. It topped the Official Singles Chart in March 2019 and spent seven weeks at #1.

Sheeran’s “Shape of You” is now #2 on the most-streamed list, compiled to celebrate the chart’s 70th anniversary.

Sheeran’s 2017 Christmas hit, “Perfect,” is #3, followed by George Ezra’s “Shotgun” (Columbia) at #4 and “Dance Monkey” (Parlophone) by Tones & I at #5.
