JOURNEY CELEBRATES 50 YEARS WITH TOUR

Journey will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the AEG Presents-promoted Freedom Tour 2023. Toto will open.

Starting 2/4 in Allentown, Pa., the 38-city arena tour will wrap with a four-night run in the California cities of Stockton (4/19), Bakersfield (4/22), Fresno (4/23) and Palm Springs (4/25). The outing includes four dates that were postponed earlier this year due to COVID.

Tickets go on sale Friday, with a presale starting Tuesday.

The current lineup of Journey is founder Neal Schon (lead guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals), Arnel Pineda (lead vocals), Jason Derlatka (keyboards, vocals), Deen Castronovo (drums, vocals) and Todd Jensen (bass).

Guessing they're glad they didn't stick with the name Golden Gate Rhythm Section.
