NEW RELEASES:
CAN JACK WHITE CHALLENGE ENCANTO?

Even with a number of new releases this week, Walt Disney’s Encanto soundtrack is expected to return to #1, with our early guesstimate being in the 45-50k range. Of the debut titles, only Jack White’s Fear of the Dawn (Third Man) appears within striking distance. With vinyl day and date, we expect the indie numbers, as well as White’s own Third Man store, to provide substantial first-week contributions. Speaking of vinyl, the LP version of Encanto hit stores this week. Since it consists of highlights from the original album and excludes the score, however, it's ineligible to be counted as a single chart entry with the CD and digital iterations.

Later today we'll have projections on White and other new releases, including those from 42 Dugg & EST Gee (CMG/Warlike/Interscope), Fivio Foreign (Rich Fish/Columbia), Camila Cabello (Epic) and Vince Staples (Motown).
