Smokey Robinson is still smooth like butter. The Motown legend gave Charlie Wilson an assist on the latter’s 2020 R&B hit “All of My Love" (P Music) and with Grammy buzz percolating around the track, Wilson has released a behind-the-scenes Q&A on the recording of the song.
According to Robinson, he’s lucky to still be around. He disclosed earlier this month that he contracted a severe case of COVID-19 back in December that forced him to spend 11 days in the hospital, telling the Daily Mail: “I was not sure that I'd ever be able to sing again because it took my voice. I could barely even talk.”
