SWIATOWY SYNCS UP WITH CAPITOL

Jenny Swiatowy has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Creative Sync Licensing & Brand Partnerships for Capitol Music Group.

Her boss, CMG President & Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer, made the announcement. Swiatowy is based in the Tower.

In her new position, she will lead CMG’s 10-member creative-sync, sports-marketing and brand-partnerships team. She is charged with generating and maximizing revenue streams while adding points of artist discovery at the CMG labels.

“Jenny has proven to be a consummate executive whose passion for our artists is matched by her abilities within the sync and brand-partnerships space,” Capitol Music Group Chairman & CEO Jeff Vaughn and Jubelirer said in unison. “She’s played a crucial role in the development and growth of these areas within CMG, and she will continue to make invaluable contributions to CMG in the years ahead.”

Since joining CMG in 2014, Swiatowy has amassed an ever-growing list of music placements, among them high-profile syncs for Lewis Capaldi; Katy Perry’s “Smile” campaign for Target; Sam Smith’s "I Feel Love" holiday campaign for Target; and City Girls’ multiple appearances on Starz’s P-Valley.

Swiatowy co-A&R'd and produced the soundtrack to the Academy Award-winning film Promising Young Woman, which featured 15 songs by female artists, half of which were from CMG’s frontline roster.

She also helped lead CMG’s entry into the children’s music space by partnering with Netflix for the animated Arlo the Alligator Boy, I Heart Arlo and Ridley Jones.

Prior to joining Capitol, Swiatowy held sync and licensing positions in music publishing at Bug Music and Warner Chappell Music from 2009 through 2014. She has also worked at CAA and Universal Music Enterprises.
