Capitol’s Halsey has unveiled the trailer for If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, an hour-long film featuring music from her upcoming album of the same name.
Concerning “the lifelong social labyrinth of sexuality and birth,” the film was written by Halsey and directed by Colin Tilley, who previously directed the videos for Halsey's “Without Me” and “You should be sad.”
Earlier this month, Halsey revealed the cover of her fourth studio album in a 13-minute video shot at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Produced by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, all of the album’s songs were penned by Halsey.
Tickets for select screenings of If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power go on sale on 8/3. Until then, feast your eyes on the trailer—which includes previews of Halsey's new music—below.
