The Recording Academy and Ebony are partnering on a six-part podcast series that will begin Thursday (6/24) and include conversations with Jeff Harleston, Ledisi, H.E.R. and others.
MC Lyte will be the host of Recording Academy x EBONY: Black Music Collective Podcast, which will feature members of the Recording Academy's Black Music Collective discussing the community and the music industry at large.
"We look forward to sharing these powerful discussions that elevate Black music creators within the music community and continue to inspire a new generation of talent," said Adam Roth, Senior Vice President, Partnerships & Business Development, of the Recording Academy.
The series begins Thursday with former BET Chairman and CEO Debra Lee and continues 7/1 with Def Jam’s Harleston; Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis are on 7/8, Ledisi on 7/15, Yolanda Adams on 7/22 and H.E.R. on 7/29.
Recording Academy x EBONY: Black Music Collective Podcast will stream Thursdays at 8pm ET/5pm PT on Ebony’s homepage and YouTube and Facebook pages, Grammy.com and the Academy’s Facebook page.
