SPOTIFY/NIVA SWEEPS MOVES THE NEEDLE

Spotify has partnered with the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) to launch a social contest via Twitter for vaccinated fans of live music.

As part of Spotify’s global vaccine campaign, the platform is encouraging people to get vaccinated by music fans the chance to win tickets to a live show at an independent venue.

500 vaccinated U.S. fans who share why they’re excited about the return of live music can win a $100 voucher or gift card to select regional independent venues. The contest kicks off today (6/2) and runs through 7/4.

Spotify’s flagship morning show, The Get Up, will feature the contest on its show this week as well as highlight other incentive programs.

Additionally, Spotify will continue its global on-platform vaccine education efforts through original podcast episodes to raise awareness and connect listeners with credible information, donation of pro-bono ad space to distribute trustworthy vaccine information and providing listeners with up-to-date vaccine content on the COVID-19 Guide hub.
