TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Cruella is sending Disney+ viewers back to mid-'70s London, but the vintage song catching the attention of Shazam-ers pre-dates that punk-rock era.

The Zombies’ “Time of the Season,” released in 1968, became a surprise Top 5 hit a full year after its release by which time the band had broken up. It’s getting thumbs wagging after appearing in the film’s soundtrack as is the movie’s lead single, Florence + The Machine’s “Call Me Cruella” (Disney).

Two new releases have thumbs wagging—Rauw Alejandro’s “Todo de Ti” (Sony Latin) and Ben Platt’s “Imagine” (Atlantic)—while Kaleo’s oft-synched 2016 cut, “Way Down We Go” (Elektra), flies up the Top 100 in the U.S. and the U.K. after a placement on NBC’s This is Us.
