ON SNL

On live TV, anything can happen. How performers deal with unexpected circumstances says a lot about them.

Lil Nas X improvised his dance steps during “MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)” on the season finale of Saturday Night Live following a wardrobe malfunction.

The Columbia Records star split his leather pants about three quarters of the way into his performance, limiting his ability to demonstrate his pole-dancing skills. His performance of “Sun Goes Down” went off without a hitch.

Later, he took to Twitter to laugh about the experience.
