TRILLER, SOUNDCLOUD LAUNCH PLATFORM INTEGRATION

Triller and SoundCloud have formed a partnership to showcase emerging indie artists with a dedicated SoundCloud playlist featured on Triller. For the selected SoundCloud artists, the new Triller integration opens up significant marketing and cross-promotion opportunities.

The SoundCloud playlist will be located on the Triller app’s Music Discovery page, where users will be able to find up-and-coming artists from SoundCloud. The playlist will represent what’s new and what’s next in music, spanning sounds, geographies and genres. It will be updated monthly, with tracks curated by Repost, SoundCloud’s creator-services division. All tracks from the playlist will be available for Triller creators to use in their video content within the app.

Artists will also be able to link their Triller and SoundCloud profiles, fueling discovery and allowing artists to grow revenue through SoundCloud’s new fan-powered royalties. Additionally, Triller users will have the ability to create their own “Power Edits” to fit their video creations, enhancing engagement and the visibility of the source tracks.

“With a shared goal of showcasing established and emerging talent, this partnership puts artists first—just like Triller does,” said Triller CEO Mahi de Silva (pictured). “In front of a global audience, emerging artists will now have the opportunity to develop a Triller fanbase that is empowered to create, share and connect.”
