JACKSON ESTATE SCORES ANOTHER VICTORY

In a third summary judgment against choreographer Wade Robson, the L.A. Superior Court has dismissed his claims and case against corporations owned by Michael Jackson or the Estate of Michael Jackson.

The Michael Jackson Estate is represented by the late Howard Weitzman and Jonathan Steinsapir of Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump LLP.

Robson's accusations against Jackson and the estate became the plot of HBO's documentary Leaving Neverland, which suffered a loss to the Jackson Estate in late 2020 when a court rejected HBO's appeal alleging that the network broke a non-disparagement agreement with Jackson, forcing arbitration between the two parties.

On the recent dismissal of Robson's case, attorney Steinsapir stated: "As of today, a summary judgment against Wade Robson has been granted three times by two judges of the Superior Court. Robson has spent the last eight years pursuing frivolous claims in lawsuits against Michael Jackson's estate and companies associated with it. Robson has taken nearly three dozen depositions and inspected and presented hundreds of thousands of documents trying to prove his claims, yet a judge has once again ruled that Robson’s claims have no merit whatsoever, that no trial is necessary and that his latest case is dismissed.”
