WALLEN PENS A FAN LETTER

Big Loud/Republic star Morgan Wallen posted a handwritten note to fans Tuesday, ending the two months of silence that has followed his apology for using a racial slur.

He thanked fans for powering the historic 10-week run at #1 for his Dangerous: The Double Album and announced that he will not be performing at summer festivals and an arena run with Luke Bryan as planned.

He ended his letter by saying, "Know you'll be seeing me sooner than later." Dropped in early January, Dangerous is far and away the year's best-selling release; it's #1 on our Overall Activity Chart for 2021, with 1.5m in activity—nearly 1m units ahead of the second-place contender.

In what capacity Wallen returns to the spotlight remains to be seen. How and when will he reconnect more substantially with fans? As demand for his music is stronger than ever, could a new headlining tour be in the works?

Read his note in full below.
