"TELEPATÍA" ON LISTENERS' MINDS

Interscope artist Kali Uchis is riding a rocket with bilingual single "Telepatía" ("Telepathy"), currently #3 at Spotify U.S. (behind only Olivia Rodrigo and Lil TJay) and #4 Global. The TikTok-fueled hit is also Top 15 at Apple Music U.S. and trending Top 15 on Apple's Global chart.

Uchis' track has been Spotify's biggest stream gainer over the last two weeks; it debuted on the platform's weekly chart on 2/25, arriving at #23 with 14m streams.

Helmed by Power Hitter producer Tainy, "Telepatía" is also a product of Interscope's Nir Seroussi-led Miami camp, working in tandem with the L.A. HQ of John Janick's IGA.

The cut appears on Uchis' 2020 set Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), which boasts guests PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rico Nasty. That title, BTW, translates as "Without Fear (Of Love and Other Demons)." Her prior album, 2018's Isolation, yielded two big streaming songs, "Dead to Me" and "After the Storm" f/Tyler, The Creator and Bootsy Collins.

The Colombian-American artist has been nominated for two Grammys, one of which—a 2021 Best Dance Recording nod for her guest spot on "10%" by Kaytranada—could still turn into a win.
