TOP 100 WEEKLY MARKETSHARE:
SAME AS IT EVER WAS

OK, maybe not ever was, but Republic has been following the same script featuring roughly the same ensemble cast since late last year. For the week ending 2/4, the House of Monte occupies 28% of the overall-marketshare real estate, just two percentage points below the previous week. But reigning champion and 2021 YTD marketshare leader Interscope is closing the gap with 21%, a 3% uptick. Between the two UMG labels, that’s just about half of the market and the lion’s share of Uni’s 60%.

Our Top 100 Weekly Marketshare Chart, which is determined solely by volume, shows the relative performance of the major labels by percentage at the top tier of the overall business.
