With 411 million streams, Gabby Barrett’s “I Hope” (Warner Music Nashville) was the most-streamed country song of 2020, while Big Loud’s Morgan Wallen placed no less than four tracks in the Top 10 during a breakthrough year for the genre.

UMG Nashville sliced off the biggest piece of the country-marketshare pie with 22.1%, three percentage points above that of Sony Music Nashville, while Columbia—the home of Lil Nas X and The Chicks—was the top non-Nashville major with 3.9%.
