U.K. MIDWEEKS: KYLIE EYES #1
11/10/20

Kylie Minogue is leading the U.K.’s Official Albums midweek race with DISCO (BMG) while Miley Cyrus is challenging Ariana Grande for the top spot at singles.

Minogue is currently battling it out with Little Mix, who follow just 2,200 sales behind at #2 with Confetti (RCA). Shirley Bassey has the third new entry in today’s Top 5 with her farewell album, I Owe It All To You (Decca), starting at #3.

Blessings (BMG) from Welsh classical singer Aled Jones is new at #8 followed by the debut mixtape, Dutch From The 5th (Parlophone), by Birmingham rapper Dutchavelli at #9.

Carnival of the Animals (Decca), a poetry collection from classical music family The Kanneh-Masons, author Michael Morpurgo, and Oscar-winning actress Olivia Coleman, is #10.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweek chart, Cyrus’s “Midnight Sky” (RCA) has risen five places following the release of a new remix featuring Stevie Nicks. Grande’s “Positions” (Island) is less than 1,000 at #1.

Little Mix could land their 10th Top 5 single with “Sweet Melody” this week, which is up eight places to #4, while “Diamonds” (Capitol) by Sam Smith could rise into the Top 10 after climbing two to #9.

Minogue is eyeing up two Top 20 placings with “Say Something” re-entering at #16, while “Magic” is at #19.
