APPLE TV LAUNCHES MUSIC VIDEO CHANNEL

Apple has launched a free 24-hour livestream of music videos today as Apple Music TV. It’s currently available to U.S. residents on the Apple Music app and the Apple TV app.

Channel programmers plan to include video premieres, curated video blocks and live shows and events. Chart countdowns and guests will also appear.

The service opened with a countdown of the Top 100 all-time-most-streamed songs in the U.S. on Apple Music.

Thursday will see an all-day Bruce Springsteen takeover ahead of the release of his Letter to You. Each Friday at noon ET the channel will air exclusive video premieres, starting this week with Joji’s “777” and SAINt JHN’s “Gorgeous.”
