Rumor has it Cliff Burnstein and Peter Mensch’s Q Prime Management is in negotiations with billionaire financier Ron Burkle to sell all or part of the company. Valuation of Q Prime—which has offices in NYC, London and Nashville and counts Metallica, The Black Keys, Muse, Eric Church and Brothers Osborne and more among its clients—is said to be in the neighborhood of $80m. With scuttlebutt that Q Prime no longer reps Red Hot Chili Peppers, how might such a development affect their valuation and any possible deal?
