FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Brothers Osborne’s third album, Skeletons (EMI Nashville), emerges atop the iTunes albums chart this flipover Friday, as fans continue to pay tribute to Eddie Van Halen through digital downloads.

Seven Van Halen albums are in the Top 10, led by their self-titled 1978 Warners debut at #3. The compilations Best of, Vol. 1 and The Best of Both Worlds, are #5 and #9, respectively; 1984 is #6. The lead guitarist died Tuesday of cancer.

Smith & MyersVol. 1 (Atlantic) is #2 followed by Back Home from labelmate Trey Songz at #4; Back Home is the top new arrival at Apple Music, currently #19. CCM group Maverick City Music is #7 with Maverick City Music, Vol. 3 Pt. 2. Future IslandsAs Long as You Are (4AD) is #10.

At iTunes songs, AC/DC leads the way with “Shot in the Dark” (Columbia) at #2. Lee Brice’s “One of Them Girls” (Curb) comes in at #9.
