SIRIUSXM DOES LATINX & HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH IN COMEDIC STYLE
SiriusXM is gearing up for special programming in honor of Latinx & Hispanic Heritage Month. Starting 9/14, comedy channels will spotlight Latinx comedians, including the audio premieres of five HBO Latino stand-up specials.
Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio (channel 94) kicks off the celebration by featuring an hour of Latinx programming starting at 9pm ET. Other stand-up materials from George Lopez, Joey Medina, Felipe Esparza and more are set to air at the same hour all week long.
Raw Dog Comedy (channel 99) continues the special programing with audio from HBO stand-up specials premiering throughout the week. Starting at 6pm ET on Tuesday (9/15), the channel will air one special a day which includes Erik Rivera’s Super White, Jerry Garcia’s It's Not My Weekend, Nick Guerra’s Love Me at My Worst, Gina Brillion’s Easily Offended and Orlando Leyba’s Adorable.
Tuesday will also have Comedy Central (channel 95) tapping into their archives to air the best comedy from Latinx artists for hour-long episodes at 1pm ET. Stand-up specials from Greg Giraldo, Gabriel Iglesias, Julio Torres, Cristela Alonzo, Shane Torres and Al Madrigal will air throughout the week.
She’s So Funny (channel 771) is also set to air special pop-up show Los Weirdos with Carmen Lynch & Kyle Ocasio on Wednesday (9/16) at 10am ET and 6pm ET, while Comedy Greats (channel 94) will broadcast stand-up blocks and full specials from Latino comedians all week long.
In other news, you can count on us for mediocre comedy at best all year round.
