FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

HAIM’s third album, Women in Music Pt. III (Columbia), tops iTunes albums, the deluxe edition of Lil Durk’s latest for Alamo/Geffen is #1 at Apple Music, and YG/Interscope’s K-Pop stars BLACKPINK open atop iTunes songs this flipover Friday.

While Lil Durk’s bulked up Just Cause Ya’ll Waited 2 tops Apple Music albums, a boatload of new arrivals fill the Top 10s on both iTunes charts. At #2 is Grey Daze, a band Chester Bennington was in prior to Linkin Park, with Amends (Loma Vista). August Alsina’s The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy (Shake the World/Empire) comes in #3 and #16 at Apple Music.

Mordechai from Dead Oceans’ Houston psych-funk trio Khruangbin is #4 ahead of two RCA releases: Ray LaMontagne’s eighth album Monovision (Stone Dwarf/RCA) at #5 and Pentatonix’s Wednesday release, At Home—EP at #7.

6LACK’s 6pc Hot EP (LVRN/Interscope) is the lone title to land in the Top 10 in sales and streaming: He’s #8 at iTunes and #6 at Apple Music.

Buju Banton’s Upside Down 2020 (Gargamel/Roc Nation) is #9 followed by Jessie Ware’s fourth album, What’s You Pleasure? (PMR/Interscope) at #10.

At iTunes songs, several releases from Wednesday and Thursday follow BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” at #1. Eric Church’s “Stick That in Your Country Song” (EMI Nashville) is #2, one slot ahead of The Chicks’ “March March” (Columbia). Charlie Puth’s “Girlfriend” (Atlantic) is #5 ahead of the one track appearing on both the sales and streaming charts—“Whats Poppin (Remix)” by Jack Harlow f/DaBaby, Tory Lanez & Lil Wayne (Generation Now/Atlantic). The Wednesday release is #4 at Apple Music and #9 at iTunes.
