TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Placements on a late May episode of HBO’s Insecure had TV viewers reaching for their phones as three syncs from the show, including a new single from Epic’s B.K. Habermehl, are among the biggest movers on the Shazam USA Top 100.

B.K. Habermehl f/Lonr.’s recent Raedio/Epic release, “Right on Time,” gets a boost from Issa Rae’s series along with two tracks from. 2018—Nina Dioz’s “Salsa” (Nacional) and Melii’s “Como Si Na” (Rule #1/Interscope).

Another new tune, Migos’ “Need It” (QC/Motown/Capitol), is among the Top 5 biggest movers as well.

The other entry dates back to 1972 after David Bowie, Elton John and Tommy Roe had already sung about astronauts and journeys to the moon. Harry Nilsson’s “Spaceman,” with orchestrations from Elton’s arranger Paul Buckmaster, floats into the Shazam USA Top 100 after appearing in the first and final episodes of Netflix’s Space Force.

In the U.K. the cover of Taylor Swift’s "Look What You Made Me Do" by a band called Jack Leopards & The Dolphin Club tops the biggest movers list. There’s speculation it’s not just a cover, but a re-record by Swift’s brother.
