VICTORY'S BRUMMEL STARTS MISSION TWO

The team behind Victory Records has launched Mission Two Entertainment, opening its doors with album releases from Cro-Mags, Insight and Don’t Sleep.

“Same job, different name, bigger mission,” CEO/Founder Tony Brummel said. “I started Victory Records in 1989 with $800. I made a different deal and I have not submitted like so many other ‘independents.’ I kept the entire staff. Let’s go.”

Hardcore legends Cro-Mags will release their first album in 20 years, In The Beginning, 6/19. Salt Lake City punk act Insight will release Reflection, a 19-track collection with four new songs, later this summer.

Don’t Sleep, led by ex-Dag Nasty/All frontman Dave Smalley, will release their debut full-length Turn The Tide later this year.

Mission Two is also launching a publishing company, Amuxe Publishing that will be the home for the label’s artists but other writers as well. Both companies are looking to sign to sign artists in all genres.
