TWO WINOS TALK RECORDS AND PINOT

Two music industry stalwarts who tossed aside the platinum records, satin jackets and “hey, buddy” conversations to work in the Oregon wine industry, are gathering online to swap war stories and taste some Pinot Noir.

Jay Boberg, the IRS Records co-founder and former MCA Records President who now co-owns the Nicolas-Jay winery, and former publicist David Millman (Giant Records, Chicago), now the GM of Domaine Drouhin, will discuss their mutual love of music and wine on 4/30 starting at 5:30pm PT.

Jay will be drinking the Nicolas-Jay 2015 Willamette Valley Pinot, in case you want to taste along. We’re guessing Millman will find a bottle of Drouhin’s Laurene to crack open. (Those of us who have had both wineries’ wares agree with the critics: They make good juice).

You can register for the virtual tasting here.
