John Prine, who died due to complications related to COVID-19 on 4/7 at age 73, was a songwriter’s songwriter—a storyteller of uncommon depth and humanity whose work moved listeners of all musical tastes. Holly Gleason offered a heartfelt remembrance following his passing.
