SET YOUR DVRS: ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST

NBC show Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist starts its series run this Sunday, following its premiere last month.

The plot concerns an introverted computer programmer living in San Francisco who begins to hear the innermost desires of the people around her through song. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may be a wonderful gift, as she connects with the world like never before.

The Supervising Music Producers of the show are Chris Lightbody, Robert Steinmiller and Spencer Yaras, while the show's Executive Music Producer is Harvey Mason Jr.

UMG is rightly psyched about the series, which is absolutely stuffed with syncs.

In the first minute alone, placements include throwback jams "Angel of the Morning" by Juice Newton and "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham! Soon after, it's R.E.M.'s "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)," followed by a montage of snippets of Aretha Franklin "Respect" and Twisted Sister "We're Not Gonna Take It." Later, we hear re-interpretations sung by cast members, reminiscent of Glee, of songs like "All by Myself," "What a Man," "Help!," "Lean on Me," "Morning Has Broken," "Mad World," "All I Do Is Win," "True Colors" and even (mild spoiler alert) "I Think I Love You."

We have a soft spot for the original Partridge Family version of the latter, but we digress. Preview the full first episode below or watch the whole thing here.
