FIRST PERFORMERS NAMED FOR AEROSMITH TRIBUTE

Gary Clark Jr., Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Alice Cooper, Jonas Brothers and John Legend are among the performers who will pay tribute to Aerosmith at the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert in January.

John Mayer, Emily King and Yola are also among the initial wave of performers announced for the Grammy week gala on 1/24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Greg Phillinganes will be the musical director.

Proceeds from the annual Person of the Year tribute — celebrating its 30th anniversary — provide essential support for the Recording Academy’s charity that ensures music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.
